Week-Long “Give Back” Event Supporting Local Nonprofits
The Virginia Beach Restaurant Association is calling on local celebrities, influencers, and community leaders to step into the spotlight as guest servers for a special week-long event at participating Virginia Beach restaurants. This exciting initiative, scheduled for April 7-10, 2025, is a unique way to bring the community together and raise funds for pre-selected local nonprofits.
The Celebrity Server Program invites well-known figures from the Hampton Roads area—whether athletes, media personalities, elected officials, or prominent community members—to serve guests while promoting generosity and community engagement. All donations collected by the celebrity servers during their shifts will be donated to a variety of local 501(c)(3) nonprofits.
“This event is more than just a dining experience—it’s about coming together to support the organizations that make a real difference in our community,” said Martha Davenport, Executive Director “We’re thrilled to promote the collaboration of VBRA member restaurants and community leaders to create an event that’s not only fun but impactful.”
